Male
Size and shape of the beck
Shape of head profile...this is very subtle, flatish or rounded, as is the case with most parrot type species.
With kakariki espec noticeable with a lot of wild colour, under the wing when stretched out is a yellow line.
A broken faded line is male, a solid defined line female.
Note this is line is the opposite to the norn in birds where the males tends to have the brighter colours.
