Hi

First off all let me introduce myself. My name is Sabrina and i'm 27 years old.
And i'm from belgium so i hope my writing is understandable.
I work as head of the animal department in a pet and garden store (but we don't sell living pets)
After thinking about owning my first pet bird for a while I went to the store today and bought myself my first bird. A "baby" kakariki.

He was born on 25th of January and I call him Sunny.

Sunny is yellow with red and a very small piece of green on the side of one eye.

I have to feed him for about 2 weeks with liquid food the store gave to me and he already eats trosgierst( i only know the dutch word) and seeds for "big parakeets".

He is very tame and that is the only reason I bought him this young. But I got a lot of good tips and tricks from the store and they showed me how to feed him the liquid food and let me do it myself so I got the hang of it before I left. I can call them anytime when i got questions or need help.

He is living in a smaller pet box right now for his own safety until he is a bit bigger and he can move to a permanent cage.

I googled a lot of information but i hope that i can find more information here.

greetings from belgium

Sabrina & Sunny
