Please im worried about my 3 week old kaks im handrearing im experianced been doing it for years but never seen this before ,3 off my 6 babies are holding there heads right back neally sitting on there back they eating small amount this is only happened within 4 hours from there last feed please help thankyou

Im not to sure what u mean...they have their heads up, and nearly falling over backwards?
We saw this when had CCTV in a nesting box a few yrs back. sometimes falling over, then very clumsy roll over and wiggle back up over the remaining infertile eggs...
Have u left the remaining infertile eggs in the nest box?
We and several others have a theory that not all eggs are meant to hatch... they allow the very young chicks form a pyramid around them for feeding....and act as hot water bottles for any short periods the hen may leave the nest

I found out why my 3 week old handreared kaks were holding there head right back its because they were hot due to the heat wave we are having
