My husband has a red crowned kakariki he got her in 2006 from a pet store in Canada and she was 6 months old then. We were just wondering if anyone could tell me how long they could live. I would be greatly appreciative. Thank you in advance.

Much depends on conditions, diet etc like any animal / person
A good age for captive kakariki is over 7 to 9 yrs....with 12 / 14 not uncommon, and 15 to 17 not unheard of.
