I would advise all keepers of Kakariki's in the east Lancashire area to check their cages/aviaries to see if they have a missing bird ASAP!

One of my cats brought a live bird home, which seems uninjured and appears to be tame - although it has not been handled directly.

Please contact the following numbers if you think this bird could be yours or someone you know:

07429 350 122
0790 535 7474

I am not a bird keeper, and have made a make-shift cage to house the bird in temporarily; feed and water have been provided, and a perch has been rigged up for it.

I will not post pictures or information on the appearance of the bird, as I would like to find the original owner of this beautiful bird if possible!

Many thanks, and any information would be welcome.

LOOBAH.

If it has a yellow forehead its probably one of mine, one shot out of the aviary like a rocket a few months ago. If its red headed must be someone elses.
