wonder if all kakariki sleeping on flat places? None of my kakariki sleeping on sticks at night. Sometimes when they rest on the day for a while they sit on a stick.
But when evening comes, at 8 time you lose them all :) 2 sleep on the shelf above the balcony, one sitting on a shelf, one sleeping in a dollhouse in a room ... etc.
They're right soil active so there is perhaps why? If in the open sleeping under bushes? My've got my bedroom as they are solving in all the time but in the aviary, they very in to eat, play, or otherwise - but they sleep like I said never there - when they sleep scattered around the room on shelves and all sorts of nooks - you can not see a bird! I must go and look for them because I want to "count" them ... so all is well :) They are incomparable to find good places to sleep on.
Sometimes Harj ag a male sleeping in a shelf in the parcel shelf in the hall - then he flies into the room in the morning around 06 ... - Funny birds this :)
