Well over a fellow breeds house on the weekend he showed me a bird he breed about a year ago. It is a green bird that seams to be starting to go mottled but it also has very stand out black cheeks. The bird is very health looking. He has asked me to put up this post to see if anyone has seen this before. duno

Hi Tossi,

The yellow pied Kakariki sometimes tend to show red cheeks. Often they show a red hue on the tail, socks and anus. I've never seen it in green birds but I assume that it would have dark purple cheeks.
