Something really bad has happened last week, I have bought a new aviary a few weeks ago and my kakarikis escaped last week. Crying or Very sad I have been sick about this for a week but finally decided to get a new pair. The question is now, what sort? I have been reading a lot about pieds, lutinos and all sorts of mutations. I have 3 criterea: 1 Definitely red fronted 2 Something else than normal green or cinamon (which I had before) and 3 Can spend up to AU$350 max. I have seen pictures of pieds which I liked but am not sure how much these birds would cost. Any body any opinion / suggestions please (and if you are in Au, know any good breeders?) I have atached a picture of a bird i really like, to give you some idea
