In need of a mate for my male yellow crown. Hoping there is a breeder in the Bay Of Plenty (NZ) who can help me out. Air freighting from somewhere else is a little expensive for one bird but if all else fails...
If u can get to Waihi tommorow (Sunday) I will be at the Turners Cars Auction of classic cars.
Will check later today if the female is still avalable...heading over to the breeders place later today I can pick it up.
PM me your DoC permit #
If cant meet, they said u can have her for free, I thinks its about $40 to ship down. _________________ My Spelling is Not Incorrect...It's 'Creative'

Still have the other female, little younger than the other thu, and in 1st molt
1m5
Setting pressure trap this evening and tomorrow, hopefully she will stay around althu she is not familar with the local terrorty _________________ My Spelling is Not Incorrect...It's 'Creative'
Thanks steptoe, my new little bird is settling in very well and after only few minutes in the avairy jumped under the water misting system and had a good drenching which the other male has never been brave enough to do, dunno why...wimp
Cool meeting Gecko and his wife....
Man some of the Prices the cars brought was astonomical!!!
We where after the Bradford van, should have gone for about $3000 to $3500 , maybe $4000 tops (had a budget of 4000and I dropped out of the biiding at 4600) It was purchased for a museum for $5900 !!!
So other than having a great day, we came home emty handed.
Oh well looks like back to finishing off the resoration of the one in our workshop
The good news is, the yellow kike I lost, well we caught it!!
Used a rat trap, the sort that has a trigger bait inside and a spring loaded door closes behind. I rose early this morning wondering if it would still be around or attracted by the calls of the others in the Flights, sure enough, it was flicking around the avaries.
Quickly set the trap and headed down country to the auctions and Meet Gecko. _________________ My Spelling is Not Incorrect...It's 'Creative'
