Id say he was semi tame if there is such a thing ?
He will sit on my hand when he feels like it.
He's very stubborn.
The female is much better she will jump straight on and sit with me.
They did start out as just pets but got so well i thought i'd let them breed.
This is kiki.

WOAH on my computer kiki looks greenlemon!!
I personally like birds as aviary pets rather than indoors not really sure why......
Maybe they are just more entertaining when ya dont see them as much

|
|
Hi,
I work for DOC in Te Anau with orange-fronted kakariki. We are after some red-crowned kakariki pairs to act as surrogate parents for orange-fronted kakariki eggs or chicks from Canterbury.
Do you have some birds of breeding age available?
