Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie to this forum and to keeping aviary birds.('duno')
I am getting an aviary for my birthday (48 today and proud of it) and have been reading about these fantastic birds.
I would like to ask if they can be kept along with other birds in an outdoor aviary. Birds like finches, cockatiels, quails, small chickens.

any advice you could give me would be happily recieved

thanks
Gill

Welcome and happy birthday....I dont count mine anymore...still too much to achieve before I reach my use by date signlol

king parrots, crimson parrot , turqs, burkes.

Once you start putting nesting boxes in then trouble usually starts to brew

Ideally all the birds, except fot the ground birds, should go in at the same time so pecking order gets sorted easy
ground birds any time..those are sort of like a aviary within an aviary.

There is a lot of info on mixed flights in older threads, a search button above and quick search box to the left.
