Birds tend to not show any illness till get very sick....
Once they show they are ill u know they will be very ill.
The symptoms u describe could be any one of a host of issues or combination of

If was us, I would
1/ drop of invermectin on the back of the neck and repeat 2x 10 days apart
2/Clean the environment, then mist spray that and the birds with a 50/50 soln of vinegar and water.. All surfaces dampened, the bird if possible have it fly thru the mist... this should be part of regular preventive maintenance at least once a month
3/ Add a teaspoon apple cider vinegar to the chopped veggies every 2 to 3 days.. once a week under normal conditions
4/ Add calcium and mineral/ vitamin supplement to the diet.
5/ keep warm.

This assumes the issue could be parasites or similar issue.. if it is crop worms then will require the vet to does directly into the crop...

It could well be a birth defect such as a bad heart or liver etc finally coming to the top...nothing can really be done about that.

if a infection then anti biotics required.. preferably a vet... BUT if u have a antibiotic tablet laying around.. know the prescribed dosage for the person and persons weight...crush the tablet, divide up proportionally to the birds weight on a glass plate and a razor blade....pick up 1 dose with a little butter .. the bird will take it and what is left on the break will lick off.

A vet is by far the best bet...and with birds must be ASAP....
If Vet is not an option the above is usually successful if the condition has not progressed too far and relevant ...

Thankyou very much, this advice is very helpful but we are taking him to a vet as soon as possible but if they are unsure I will 100% try what you advised. Much appreciated!
