I've had this lovely bird for about 8 months now it is now in a large aviary and comes inside to run and fly around lots. Since it has matured I've taken a couple of recent photos showing the beak from the front and the under wing.....looks like a male what do you think? Whatever sex it is a beautiful bird full of personality.

It is boxing day here... a day where we spend time with our families that havnt had a chance to do so on Christmas Day... which in my/ our case traveling well out of town for the day to meet up with Parents and our grandchildren
So some patience please...as this is rather way down the list of priorities right now.... and allow for things like time zones, we do have interests besides computers ... like going fishing , etc..
U are right there is no edit.. reason.. because we have had in the past where some critical information had been lost due to abuse
Yes have your email and pics...
and uploaded to your post above as per instructions in the how to
When posting below the post window is the area to upload pics from your computer...
click "browse" and go to where u have your pic on your computer
select it
Add any comment u wish in the 'comment box'
then click on " add attachment"
once uploaded
click submit which is when your post plus pic then gets put to the server data base... published.

Yes most definitely a male and a very nice looking one at that..
The gloves thu....learn how to handle birds without gloves, even smaller wild birds/ kakariki.. utube has some good demos... and expect to get a nip ever now and then that may hurt a bit.. put down to 'war wounds ' maybe.
you may also find your kakariki will get used to being handled, and interact far easier ...

PS deleted all your posts/ attempts between to keep the thread simple

Thanks heaps for the reply, I didn't mean for you to reply today (being boxing day) so I hope this didn't interrupt your family activities. Yes He's a lovely boy and I will stop using the gloves soon. All the best for 2015 :)
