Hi Peter,

yes, they have a similar look to my pieds.
Unfortunately I have not made much progress with them, the original male this winter and now I only have 1 daughter that breeds very well and some siblings and offspring of this hen. Let's see if we can make progress in the future, but for some reason all the pied males of this family seem to not last very long.
At times I have considering stopping breeding birds of this family.

What I mean to say is that I have not been able to experiment with the pied pattern of my birds.

First pic is of a Hillerman pied African ringneck. A selective breeding. Second pic is the Edged Kakariki mentioned by Prot.
What do you think?

hi Chris,

no, we don't, but some of us seem to have a strain of pied kakariki that have similar characteristics to the hillerman pied indian ringneck, namely the center of some feathers are yellow, while the edges of the feather remain normally colored.
