I'm not sure but i think she may be a hen....her head is quite round...like my hen.....cocks have flatter heads.

Here is one for you Gee if you don't mind.
I passed on your tip to a friend about the lines and she went to have a check on one of hers. But, it is a yellow winged pied with no line, is there a clear cut way in this mutation to tell?

Another tip from Peter, somewhere here on this forum;
If he has not moulted yet.. but is at least 2 months old (after fledging)
You could measure its upperbeak.
For males it is above 1,5cm, females below.
Maybe you could combine those 2 tips?
