joey gee is right don't force pair your birds you will get a lot better results letting them choose .... i found this out the hard way it took ages for them to get on and once the hen had mated and layed a clutch she turned her bk on the male ... he didn't like this and then tried to attack her whilst she was sitting her eggs long story short 1 chick hatched and then died.
after that i got 2 hens and two cocks would have preferred more male at the time tho and put them together ... i got 1 pair frm this and they are now on their 3 successful batch since march.
there is alot of threads on here about pairing your kaks frm some really experienced breeders have a good read thru for an hour or two its helped me loads. _________________ thanks brucie.....
Intoducing bird into anothers terroritory.....'bedroom' is not a good idea and usually results in greif...
Someone move into your bedroom without any warning or consultation...????
Its not a human thing...is an instinctive animal thing.
When putting 3 birds together ezpec if dealing with cages and not avary, create a cpmpletely new enviroment, no familar toys etc, and introduce both together....Bit of pecking order 'as to who has the top bunk' and thats all. _________________ My Spelling is Not Incorrect...It's 'Creative'
