Hi guys,

This is Sam, Qwerty's new partner in crime Wink

Sam is about 9/10 weeks old now.

The moment Qwerty and Sam met ( 2 weeks ago) Qwerty emerged himself as his guardian and caretaker. They get along very well.. better than I could dream of.

Though they both have their own cage, once loos, Sam directly flies to Qwerty's cage, climbs up to his fav spot and settles down.
If he had a suitcase he'd bring it with him!
For now, Qwerty does not seem to mind.
But then they are both still very young.

I decided on buying a male instead of a female because I think Qwerty is a hybrid Sad
He has some faint yellow at the edge of his red cap.
If I knew, I would not have bought him, don't want to encourage hybrid breeders.

So no mate or little ones for Qwerty, sept for young " stepbrothers" .

time for a pic:
tadaaaaaaa

Thanks Bruce!

Photography is another one of my hobbies.
So I invested in a good cam with extra lenses and made sure I know how to work it.

I never hunt them with my cam. I kinda know their habbits by now, specially Qwerty's.
I know what his fav spot/ food/ bath time etc is.
So when the light is right and I have the time and the mood.. I take the cam, settle down in a good spot.. and just wait for things to happen.
They are the directors, I just register.

It took Sam a while to get used to all the bleeps and buzzes.. but, like Qwerty, it does not bother him anymore. That helps too.

But still, for every good shot I keep, I throw away at least 10. Shhh

hey, that's about 10%, it's a good ratio
I think my "useful pic" ratio is around 1% signlol :)
but I have a very basic point and shoot camera, and it's not as good as my previous one. It was a canon A590is, very basic, cheap, but it used to take very good pics. Next xmas I think I'll try to get another Canon

Cheers / Pablo
