I'm currently hand rearing a young kakariki and just need some advice as online info about rearing kaks is a bit lacking.
She is currently 4 1/2 weeks old and on 6-7 feeds a day, taking between 6 and 10 grams per sitting.
She has started nibbling at soft fruit and veg but I was wondering what age they start weaning at and when to introduce a small amount of seed for her to investigate?
