hi i am new to this forum and a new owner of a pair of kakarikis. i am currently focusing my taming with my male "bob" i have clipped their wings but feel bad now because some people say yes and no?? whats was the right thing to do?
here is a list of things i can do with him.

-he'll eat grapes and take them from my hand but wont stay on it in the cage (how do i get him tame in his cage?)
- i used to grab him with my hand till fairly recently when i found out it was a nono and will break trust so now use a towel with hand hidden.
- i take him to spare bedroom (quite small) and use a perch to practice the step up method and bond with him. so when he flies off i use cloth to pick him up and place him back on perch.

what i wanna know is can someone provide me with a proper step by step training to tame my bird????

not a good idea....

On the left is a "quick search" block

Run a search for clipped wings or similar

Another for taming

And read a sticky thread "what do u feed...."

A lot of reading but will get detailed info with the whys along with the how tos.
