If anyone is wanting a day out there's the Newark Birdshow coming up the date is Sunday 13th Feb. We went a few months ago and was impressed with the quality and price of all the birds inc kakarikies. Most of the kaki were being sold for around £20 each. Check out this website for details, admission and directions.

We went last year and came back with a couple of Parrot finches, put your woolies on though, its basically in a tin shed and, very cold, and not great for some of the more tropical birds.
