Ok I got my Kak yesterday, he was quiet as a mouse but today when we have woke up he is making a really weird noise, it sounds like he is hysterically laughing. Is this a normal vocal for them or does it mean anything ? like he is stressed in some way or unhappy ?

I have enclosed a video of him doing it.

THis is normal vocalization. It is often used as a warning sound or when they are exited about something. Nothing to worry about Laughing

Congratulations on your choice of bird, I find these creatures more and more fascinating the more I get to know them.

As far as toys go I've found that mine prefer lightwight foot toys and shreddable toys. They also adore their scratchbox, a large cat litter tray filled with paper pellets and some seeds scattered in. In general they will go for toys that are easy to destroy. The best and absolute favourite toys are those they steal themselves, so I usually place a few interesting small things in places where they like to explore. Those are things like small shells, bits of pumice stone, wooden beads etc.
